With classes now in full swing, UVA students are beginning to settle into a new semester of tough classes. But for Alex, a fourth year Comm student, the adjustment hasn’t been so easy.

“It’s just not fair,” exclaimed Alex, “How am I expected to complete my homework for Exploiting Low-Income Workers each week while still keeping up my status as a regular at Virg, Trin, Bilt, and Crozet? It just doesn’t feel like our commitments outside of the classroom were considered when this curriculum was developed.”

Notably, Alex has a job lined up working as an accountant for Jack Daniels next year, where he falsely believes that free samples are offered in the lobby for employees.
