UVA Gives Thanks to Students "We Are Thankful For Your Tuition"

UVA has released a touching statement to students this Thanksgiving Day, demonstrating their gratefulness to those willing to pay a premium for education.
“Student, we are thankful for your tuition, which you so blindly pay each year,” began the statement, “while it may put you in crippling debt for the better half of your life, we hope you take solace knowing your money allowed our football team to move to 3-8 this year, and contributions to our dining halls have dropped food poisoning cases into the triple digits this year.”
UVA also stated that they would be raising tuition next year in order to fund more construction, explaining that “if students can walk to class without any minor inconveniences, we’re doing something wrong.”
