Virginia Shuts Out Tech 3-0 in Massive Volleyball Win (No Others Sports Played Today)

Virginia, who definitely has never lost to Virginia Tech in any sports, continued their winning ways today with a massive 3-0 sweep of Tech in straight sets by the women’s volleyball team. The Cavaliers dominated the first set before coming up big on clutch points late in the second and third sets, winning 26-24 and 27-25.
The Cavalier women’s volleyball team also came back against Tech at home earlier in the year in a match at JPJ on October 29 for another clutch victory in five sets. Virginia’s athletic programs continue to dominate the Hokies: the men’s soccer team won 3-0 against Tech earlier this year, and the women’s soccer team also won 3-0.
Man, Virginia just seems to own VPI in every sport these days. Anyways, make sure to tune in for the men’s soccer Sweet Sixteen game tomorrow!
