Fourth-Year Without Meal Plan Checks Out New Saxby's Just To Feel Something Again

Kylie, a fourth-year who hasn’t eaten on grounds since 2021, finally broke her tradition of actually cooking good homemade meals for herself by visiting the Saxby’s grand opening this week.
“Sometimes you get tired of meal prepping well-cooked and healthy meals,” Kylie said. “I needed to remember that first year sensation of eating a Society Subs Buffalo chicken sub for dinner and then having my tummy hurt all night.”
For the low price of just $11.50 in flex dollars, she enjoyed a grilled cheese and a small coffee from the new location in Alderman Library. While Kylie said “it’s no West Range Caesar wrap,” she at least enjoyed the sensation of feeling young again and having to eat on grounds.
