After Disappointing Game, Backpacks Confiscated From Entire Starting Offense

After turning the ball over three times and scoring just 16 points against Old Dominion, head coach Tony Elliott confiscated the athlete backpacks of his offensive starting lineup to send a message to his team.
“Look, after two embarrassing outings in a row, something had to change,” Elliott said. “Hopefully this teaches our squad a lesson.”
The players also had their mopeds taken away. Their student IDs no longer work at the athlete dining hall, and are only valid for Crossroads meal exchanges.
