Starting next school year, the UVA Chemistry Department will offer a new major concentration in cooking meth.
“It’s a game changer,” said Jim Ryan, “the faculty in the department are excited and eager to welcome new students. Offering this major will play a positive role in retention and will help students stand out on the job market. We are creating opportunities.”
The concentration will require students to take CHEM 3115 (Drugs in Breaking Bad), HIST 4108 (History of Meth), and METH 1010 (How to snort! And other fun party tricks).
