CRIME: Thousands of First-Years Imprisoned After Jaywalking Sting Operation

Thousands of first-years were taken into custody after police officers conducted a raid on jaywalkers at the McCormick-Alderman intersection.
As students attempted to dart across the crosswalk without the “walk” signal, dozens of undercover cops swarmed the law-breakers.
“It’s a great day for the safety of our community,” Timothy J Longo said. “With 73 percent of the first-year class imprisoned after this raid, we can finally begin to crack down on the jaywalking epidemic.”
