First Year Shocked to Find Trin Won't Accept Flex Dollars

First-year student Kevin came to Grounds excited for an easygoing and fun experience. However, his first weekend as a ‘Hoo ended in awkward confusion Saturday night when he attempted to use his student ID to pay for a Guinness.
“Look, it worked at Chick-fil-A a few hours ago,” Kevin insisted to the unamused restaurant staff.
Kevin claims his mistake was an honest misunderstanding, and he’d received faulty advice from a group of third-year McIntire students. They also recommended Kevin show his university ID to the bouncer at Boylan, insisting that “you can’t be underage if there’s no age on the card.” The group could not be reached for comment.
