Club Sailing at UVA Shocked to Learn They Can't Sail at AFC

Over the weekend, @sailingatuva was shocked to learn that sailboats are strictly prohibited at the AFC. We caught up with Laura, a member of the sailing team, to help us understand their thought process.
“Well where else are we supposed to sail?” She contested. “Club Water Polo and Club Swim can book the pool just fine, but as soon as you try to bring a Catamaran through the doors they turn you away. It really makes you think.”
Club Sailing is having a Sail Sale Fundraiser on Friday, after they spent all of their dues on buying giant fans to propel their boats in the AFC. In Laura’s words, “it’s the season of giving, and nothing says ‘I love you’ more than a fresh new sail.”
It should be noted that Laura sleeps under a sailboat sail instead of a blanket.
