Student Relieved at Light Thanksgiving Work Load: Only 6 Assignments!

Jared, a second year CS student, was relieved this morning after completing his final class and realizing his homework load over Thanksgiving Break was in the single digits.
“I’m astonished, my professors must be truly thankful for us this year!” exclaimed Jared, last year he was given 13 assignments and 4 projects to be completed by 4pm Thanksgiving day. “Some other students and I are working on a plan to repay our professors’ kindness, it’s nice to know that they are keeping the students’ mental health in mind this holiday season.”
This generosity seems to be extending to other departments as well; a recent study showed English majors only have an average of 3 papers due this week, and STEM midterm averages are at an all-time high of 55%.
